Call for Papers

2013 2nd International Conference on Video and Media (ICVM 2013) is the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied Video and Media. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

media and representation
media spaces and local media
mobile media
multi-media
new media literacies
persuasion and commodification
social media and market language
social movements and global uprisings
social networking
theories of apparatus and interface
user-generated content and new media economies

Conference papers will be published into Journal of Image and Graphics (JOIG, ISSN: 2301-3699 ) by: Engineering and Technology Publishing, which will be indexed by Google Scholar(http://scholar.google.com/), CrossRef(http://www.crossref.org/),ETLibrary(http://www.etlibrary.org/),DOAJ(http://www.doaj.org/), MELib (http://www.meslib.org/), IndexCopernicus(http://journals.indexcopernicus.com/karta.php?action=masterlist&id=7450), EBSCO(http://www.ebscohost.com/), JournalSeek(http://journalseek.net).

Around 10 registered papers of ICVM 2013 conference will be recommened to publish in China Communications (ISSN: 1673-5447; CN: 11-5439/TN),which is indexed by the SCIE (Science Citation Index-Expanded index since January 2007 and Scopus database since January 2009. Recommended papers should add at least 30% contents and will be reviewed by China Communications.
