Notice! Requested by most authors, the
organizers have now decided to move this conference to the
following venue in Phuket, Thailand and change the conference
date to 26-27 May. We regret for any inconveniences caused.
Welcome to the official website of the 2012 International
Conference on Video and Media (ICVM 2012), will be held in
Phuket during May 27-28, 2012. ICVM 2012 is sponsored by
SCIence and Engineering Institute(SCIEI), and hosted by
Singapore Institute of Electronics(SIE).
The ICVM 2012 offers a track of quality R&D
updates from key experts and provides an opportunity in bringing
in the new techniques and horizons that will contribute to Video
and Media in the next few years. All submitted papers will be
under peer review and accepted papers will be published in the
conference proceeding. Both academia and industries are invited
to present their papers dealing with state-of-art research and
future developments.
ICVM is an event that focuses on the state of the art
technologies pertaining to Video and Media. The applications of
Video and Media to such domains as astronomy, biology,
education, geosciences, security and health care are among
topics of relevance to ICVM. It is a technical congregation
where the latest theoretical and technological advances in Video
and Media are presented and discussed. We expect that the
conference and its publications will be a trigger for further
related research and technology improvements in this important
subject. ICVM promotes fundamental and applied research
continuing advanced academic education and transfers knowledge
between involved both sides of and the application of Video and
Media.
The conference will be held every year to
make it an ideal platform for people to share views and
experiences in Video and Media and related areas.
All papers for the ICVM 2012 will be published in the IPCSIT (ISSN:
2010-460X) as one volume, and will be included in the Engineering &
Technology Digital Library, and indexed by EBSCO, CNKI (中国知网), WorldCat,
Google Scholar, and sent to be reviewed by Ei Compendex and ISI Proceedings.
English is the official language of the conference. We
welcome paper submissions. Prospective authors are invited to
submit full (and original research) papers (which is NOT
submitted/published/under consideration anywhere in other
conferences/journal) in electronic (PDF only) format through
the
Electronic Submission System
website or via
email icvm@sie-edu.sg.
